Subject knowledge is the beginning.

A trainer must also help someone question, connect, practise and explain. Learn to support learners aged 16 and above, make difficult ideas accessible and develop confidence without replacing independent judgment.

  • Complete the required AIS foundation and communication course certificates.
  • Pass the specific subject courses you intend to teach.
  • Complete Matican Group’s additional teacher-training courses in sequence.

A distinct professional role.

Certified trainers teach approved courses. Authorized Academy Partners organize education delivery. AIS Academy runs the examinations and assessments. Matican Group owns AIS Framework and certifies its trainers.

The trainer certificate is individual. It does not by itself authorize an Academy Partner organization, create Provider status or permit independent changes to AIS curriculum.

Teaching the AIS Curriculum Faithfully ↗

Translate approved AIS course outcomes into lessons without changing Framework meaning or promising unearned authority. Match teaching scope to the subject courses you have passed. Understand the source material personally before using AI to adapt it. Use fictional or safely de-identified examples and preserve client confidentiality.

P11.4

Facilitation, Questions & Constructive Feedback ↗

Facilitate online discussions, challenge misleading AI claims and invite multiple perspectives without humiliating learners. Give feedback that helps a learner improve rather than depend on the trainer. Respect learners’ existing experience and investigate the reasons behind their answers before correcting them.

Learning Evidence & Exam Readiness ↗

Use formative exercises and rubrics to identify gaps. Help students decide when they are ready for an AIS Academy exam while preserving the independence of its examinations and assessments.

P11.6

Observed Teaching & Trainer Certification ↗

Prepare and deliver an observed lesson using approved material, respond to learner misconceptions and revise the lesson after feedback. Defend your teaching choices and scope in the final teacher-training course assessment. Demonstrate that the learner can explain their own reasoning rather than simply repeat generated text.
