Understanding you can put to work.
Practitioners, designers and decision-makers responsible for choosing whether and how an organization should change.
- Define a business moment before selecting a technology or PTA.
- Compare preservation, human, PTA, interface, simple-tool, hybrid and structure-first choices.
- Defend an evidence-based decision while preserving every applicable AIS boundary.

The Unit of Analysis: A Business Moment ↗
Specify the stakeholder, need, environment, outcome, risk and records involved. Replace broad claims such as “automate customer service” with distinct decision contexts.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗The Full Range of Interventions ↗
Compare preserving an effective approach, human-first, PTA-first, interface-first, a simple tool or form, human service with PTA support, structure-first and no intervention.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗Fit Across Human & Operational Factors ↗
Assess trust, speed, natural interaction, psychological friction, maintenance cost, complexity and organizational value. Identify trade-offs explicitly. Test whether conversation actually reduces effort; several messages may be less useful than a simple existing control.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗Evidence, Alternatives & Decision Discipline ↗
Build an option comparison with baseline evidence and uncertainty. Explain why an option is stronger than credible alternatives rather than merely technically possible.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗Boundaries, Pilots & Reassessment ↗
Carry Gateway, record, permission and human-authority rules into the selected design. Define a bounded pilot, stop conditions and reasons to revisit the decision.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗Right-Fit Decision Studio ↗
Defend recommendations across contrasting business moments, including one where adding AI would reduce value. Validate the recommendation with the people affected and identify what should deliberately remain unchanged.
Outcomes, assessment & certificate ↗Earn each next step.
Study the course with a Certified AIS Academy Trainer. Prepare the course-specific evidence, check readiness, then take the exam or assessment run by AIS Academy. A pass leads to that course’s certificate, subject to the confirmation and issuance process.
Each examination attempt is paid, including a retake. Fees are intended to be affordable and proportionate; confirmed prices and booking terms will be published before booking opens.

The courses contribute to the following applied work. Each course page explains its own assessment focus; this is not a separate programme examination.
- Three business-moment briefs with stakeholders, outcomes, records and operating conditions.
- An option matrix covering credible alternatives and explicit trade-offs.
- A decision record including a justified preserve/no-intervention or structure-first choice, plus pilot and review conditions.
